Speed Limit Survey Results

Amana Academy, a 750-student K-8 charter school, has applied to the City of Alpharetta
for a rezoning to relocate to Windward. The school is applying for a change to the
Windward Master Plan and a Conditional Use permit to convert an existing office building
to a school. Amana would be located at 5905 Windward Parkway at the SE corner of
Windward Parkway and Edison Drive.
The zoning application and related documents are listed below. If you want to

| AMANA REZONING REQUEST DENIED 7-0 VOTE BY CITY COUNCIL ON 12-19-2011 At 12:45 am, Tuesday morning, the Alpharetta City Council, after hearing from more than 80 speakers both for and against the request for zoning variance, voted unanimously to deny based on land usage. This was a big win for residents and business owners of Windward. The action taken by our city leaders protects our property values and gives existing and new business owners confidence and consistency in the Windward Master Plan.
